Greensboro Dermatology announces the retirement of Dr. William Harrison Turner III, who has been a partner with our practice since 1976. Dr. Turner has provided excellent dermatological care for his patients, and was awarded National Practitioner of the Year Award in 2005 by the Dermatology Foundation. In addition, he has been recognized as one of the state’s Best Doctors by the North Carolina Business Journal for several years. He has served as the President of the Greater Greensboro Society of Medicine, the State Dermatology Association, the Greensboro Sports Council, and the ACC Tournament Host Committee.  Dr. Turner also served on the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce board for two terms. He was founding Chairman and Chairman of the Board for Physicians Health Plan of North Carolina for ten years. His community service was recognized in 2005 with the city’s highest honor for service, the Thomas Z Osborne Award. We are proud of Dr. Turner’s many accomplishments, his outstanding service, and his fine care for his patients. Dr. Turner will retire June 30, 2012 and we wish him much happiness in his retirement.
